Now that summer is finally showing itself and with the end of the lockdown that we have been waiting for so long (while continuing to respect the government’s recommendations, of course 😊), why not celebrate it all with some good refreshing summer drinks? Now that the sanitary measures are becoming less severe, it is not time to lower our efforts to maintain our good health. Land Art is here to help you! Land Art offers many liquid supplements to help take care of our everyday health for many different types of needs. Contrary to popular belief, supplementation does not have to be boring and forced; taking supplements can be part of our everyday habits and thus goes unnoticed. Therefore, here is an example of a summer day, for which we propose three completely different drinks, for three different moments of the day, filled with good ingredients and including Land Art’s quality supplements, that are beneficial to the maintenance of our good health.
Morning Slush filled with many benefits and energy
What is better than a great energizing homemade slush to get up on the right foot? This slush not only contains fresh and refreshing ingredients, but we also propose to add a bottle of Land Art’s Volta and some Land Art’s Aloe Vera. Land Art’s Volta is an energy drink that increases endurance as well as physical and mental performances, without the negative effects of some energy drinks or even coffee. For its part, Land Art’s Aloe Vera juice offers benefits to soothe pain due to the irritation of mucous membranes, to stimulate and regulate digestive and intestinal functions, and to promote the elimination of toxins.
Ingredients (1 portion)
- ½ cup of frozen strawberries
- ½ cup of frozen pineapple chunks
- ½ lime (with the skin)
- A few basil leaves
- A full bottle of Land Art’s Volta*
- 1 Tbsp of maple syrup (for the sweet teeth!)
- 1 cup of water
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) of Land Art’s pomegranate juice Aloe Vera
Pass all the ingredients in your blender and add water as needed to get a nice slush texture!
*Warning, Land Art’s Volta is energizing, avoid taking it in the evening if you do not want to stay awake all night.
Afternoon's refreshing and fruity drink
Next, we offer you, for a refreshing afternoon, a Pineapple ‘’Tiki’’ cocktail recipe. An afternoon drink to enjoy the day on the edge of the swimming pool or on the patio, with a good book and time to relax. Adding Land Art’s Collag-n to the recipe, for its help in the development and maintenance of bones and cartilage, adds a bit a health to your day. There is nothing that feels more like summer and more festive than a cocktail served directly in a fruit. Make sure to leave some flesh when you take out the inside of the pineapple – the fruit will hold up better and the exotic cocktail-soaked flesh will be delicious to eat with a spoon afterwards!
Ingredients (2 portions)
- 1 pineapple
- ½ cup of orange juice
- ½ cup of coconut milk
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) of Land Art’s Collag-n Cherry (1 Tbsp per portion)
- 2 oz of rhum (optional)
- Few drops of bitter (optional)
Cut off the head of the pineapple and set aside. Remove the flesh from the pineapple, being careful not to pierce the skin. Cut the flesh (discarding the core) into chunks, then add in a blender with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until a smooth and creamy mixture is obtained. Serve directly into the pineapple. Garnish with fresh fruits and drink with a straw.
A chia fresca while making dinner on the barbecue
The « chia fresca » is a very popular drink in Central America, which is steadily gaining popularity all over the world. Therefore, to end this beautiful summer day on a good note, here is a recipe for a refreshing summer drink, a cucumber-chlorophyll chia fresca, to drink as is or as a cocktail, to fill up on antioxidants and to take advantages of the benefits of the added Land Art’s unflavored Chlorophyll Concentrated 5X as its detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects.
Ingredients (4 portions)
- 1 English cucumber, diced
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 Tbsp of sugar
- 4 tsp of Land Art’s unflavored Chlorophyll Concentrated 5X (1 tsp per portion)
- 4 tsp of chia seeds
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves
- 1 oz of gin (optional)
Blend water and 2/3 of the diced cucumbers in a blender until you obtain a smooth puree texture. Pass through a sieve to collect the cucumber juice. Add the lime juice, the sugar and the chlorophyll, then mix well. Add a few pieces of diced cucumber, 1 tsp of chia seeds and a few mint leaves in each glass, then fill with ice cubes. Fill the glasses with the cucumber mixture, let the chia seeds swell for a few minutes, then enjoy with a straw.
